Members of the public please be advised that the City of Ottawa has started work on the Queen Street water main replacement project. The project takes place between Bronson and Elgin Streets.

Pedestrian access and access to the Australian High Commission (50 O’Connor Street - the Sunlife Financial Building) will be maintained throughout the construction. However, portions of Queen Street will be reduced to one lane in each direction and parking will not be available in the affected portions of the street.

Kent Street between Albert and Queen will also be reduced to one lane to accommodate the construction.

Members of the public are reminded to exercise caution while travelling through construction zones.
